Bringing children with you on a tour can sometimes be a problem. They can sometimes be quite loud, they may wonder off and be a hassle to find, and sometimes complain to the point of irritation. That’s why it’s important to find ways to keep them distracted. Here are some ways to do exactly that.
1. Introduce them to a new game
If your child is being problematic, then show them a new board game or video game on your phone. The idea of something new intrigues children and can occupy them for a long time before they get bored.
2. Show them a film
If you’ve got a television or tablet, it’s best to put on a film that the children enjoy watching. They’ll be too busy watching their favorite film to cause problems, and can be distracted for hours.
Another technique to distract your children is to bring along some children books. Ones with pictures are especially liked by children. If you have no space in your bag to bring any books, then you can record some on a tape and play it for your children.
Children insist on having something in their hands at all times. Bringing your children’s’ favorite toys with you is a great way to keep them occupied, and keeps them from being bored while on WW1 battlefield tours.
5. Coloring pads
Handing your child a coloring pad allows them to channel their creativity and create whatever they want for hours. It’s an easy and fun way to keep your children busy.
If you take these suggestions into consideration, then you will have no issue in occupying your children while on tour.
