Both Salehoo and Worldwide Brands are leading wholesaler and dropshipper directories, and have both been established for more than ten years. They are available to join at quite different price points though, so what's good and bad about each one and overall what's the best directory?
Salehoo is a directory of about 8,000 suppliers – manufacturers, wholesalers and drop shippers. There are 1.5 million products form these suppliers listed in the Salehoo database and all of them have been screened – meaning that Salehoo's staff have checked them and verified that they are legitimate and reliable to deal with before adding them to the directory.
Salehoo comes with some extras as well – forum access, market research tools and tutorials for anyone looking to sell on eBay or online.
Salehoo costs $67 per year – cheap at first but the longer you are a member the more expensive it gets.
Worldwide Brands is very similar to Sale Hoo in many ways – it's a directory of wholesalers and drop shippers, which are all verififed, etc. and comes with added extras like forum access and tutorials.
However, there are two key differences with Worldwide Brands. The first is that WWB lists about ten times as many products as Salehoo – 16 million in total as of 2017.
The other is that Worldwide Brands is the only directory that's certified by eBay.
Worldwide Brands costs $300 – but that's for lifetime membership and there are no annual fees.
Which is Better?
Worldwide Brands offers more products for less money in the long term, so I'd suggest that's the best of the two directories, although both are good at what they do.
